CJ Severo is a board-certified Physician Assistant with nearly a decade of experience across cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology, and addiction medicine. He joined Renew Medical to bring the same level of precision and excellence he honed in hospital medicine into a modern, patient-focused health optimization setting.

CJ began his career in cardiology before joining Yale New Haven Hospital, where he has practiced as a Cardiothoracic Surgery PA since 2018. In this role, he has cared for critically ill patients in both inpatient and post-operative settings, trained incoming providers, and collaborated on quality improvement initiatives to raise the standard of care. He continues to practice in addiction medicine, providing evidence-based treatment for patients struggling with substance use disorders.

A summa cum laude graduate in Exercise Physiology from Southern Connecticut State University, CJ earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Bridgeport, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA from both universities. He is also a clinical preceptor for both Yale University and the University of Bridgeport PA programs, mentoring the next generation of providers.

At Renew Medical, CJ combines his background in exercise physiology, cardiology, and preventative medicine to deliver individualized treatment plans for men that optimize health and performance.
